Frequently Asked Questions
How do I store the Walk The Plane mat?
It is best to keep the mat rolled while storing to avoid wrinkling. If wrinkles do appear, a hair dryer will smooth out the vinyl mat nicely!
What’s the best way to transport the mat?
The mat is very light so it is easy to transport. Just fold or roll it up and carry it to your destination. It should be stored rolled to avoid wrinkles.
Can Walk The Plane be used outdoors?
Yes. Since the mat can be cleaned easily, you can use it indoors and outdoors.
Do students need to take their shoes off to use the mat?
No, they should wear their shoes. Shoes have more grip, and the mat can be easily cleaned, if needed.
What is the best way to clean the Walk The Plane mat?
You can dust the mat with a cloth. If you have to spot clean, make sure the mat is thoroughly dry before use.
Can I write on the mat?
We have found that some markers do not erase fully, so we do not recommend writing on the mat.
The vinyl mat works best with removable stickers or laminated objects that you can write on or erase.

Not at this time, but we may consider this if we get enough interest.
What material is the Walk The Plane mat made out of?
The mat is vinyl. Students should never run on the mat and should always be supervised.
