About Walk the Plane
At Walk The Plane, we believe math shouldn’t feel abstract, it should feel real, interactive, and engaging.
That belief is what inspired the creation of a life-sized, walkable coordinate plane designed to get students moving, thinking, and truly understanding the concepts behind the numbers.
That belief is what inspired the creation of a life-sized, walkable coordinate plane designed to get students moving, thinking, and truly understanding the concepts behind the numbers.
Teaching foundational concepts like ordered pairs, graphing, and transformations remained a persistent challenge without a reliable, hands-on approach.
Teachers had tried to solve this by taping grids on floors, using makeshift materials, and devising DIY tools. But those approaches weren’t practical, durable, or easy to reuse.
So, Walk The Plane was created as a simple and effective solution.
